CAMBRIDGE CUBS
CAMBRIDGE PRIMARY
Grades 1 to 5 gives a curriculum framework to develop English, Mathematics and Science skills and knowledge in young learners of the age group of 6 to 11 years.
The focus is on Academics, personal development and development of global awareness in students. A lot of opportunities are provided to students, to research, experiment and learn while doing projects and practical work on topics related to their subjects.
Every month a surprise test is taken for assessment and feedback of the child’s academic progress. There are two terms in one academic session.
A term exam is taken at the end of the first term, i.e. in October, and the final exam is taken at the end of the session, i.e. in April.
Cambridge Primary curriculum framework for each subject English, Mathematics and Science provides a clear teaching structure.
Subjects offered: English, Marathi which is mandatory for Maharashtra, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Information & Communication Technology, French/Hindi.
Co Curricular Activities: Dance, Music, Drama, Arts & Crafts, PSHE, Club Acvies. Inter-House and Inter-School Compeons, Field Trips (Educational)
Other Movies: Sports (Indoor & Outdoor), Library, MUN, Debates etc.
CAMBRIDGE LOWER SECONDARY
Cambridge Checkpoint (6th Grade 8th Grade) – We follow the Cambridge checkpoint from Grades 6 to 8 to develop the most important skills towards learning various subjects. Further, we offer Cambridge Checkpoint tests at the end of Cambridge Lower Secondary 1 to assess learners’ preparedness to enter IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) at the end of Cambridge Lower Secondary.
Checkpoint Tests are available in Science, Mathematics and English. These tests provide us valuable feedback to understand strengths and weaknesses of students in academic learning.
Through this, students of RIMS obtain a transferable indication of their academic progress.

CAMBRIDGE IGSCE
Cambridge IGCSE develops skills in problem solving and creative thinking along with knowledge and understanding of concepts.
IGCSE enables students to apply knowledge and understand new as well as unfamiliar situations.
Students are engaged in intellectual enquiry. IGCSE is an excellent academic preparation for the next progressive stage in education, especially AS and A Levels (superior alternative to HSC examination at Grades 11 and 12). Which are accepted as ‘Gold Standard’ entry qualifications to universities and colleges of repute across the world.
Cambridge IGCSE offers schools a flexible curriculum that can be developed to suit their needs. There is a curriculum framework for each subject English, Mathematics and Science providing a clear teaching structure.

International Certificate of Education (ICE) Award
Our students pursue Cambridge ICE award at IGCSE. It is a group award and requires the study of subjects drawn
from the five subject groups as mentioned below. It provides students the benefit of learning subjects from offering
a broad and balanced curriculum.
The subject selected must include two (different) language from Group I and one subject from of Group II, III,
IV and V. The seventh subject can be taken from any of the five subject groups. ICE award is recognised as quality
in addition to further admissions for University and college admissions globally. All our students are prepared to
appear for Cambridge IGCSE with an ICE award.
ELIGIBILITY:
Students who have completed Standard 8 (SSC, ICSE, CBSE, NIOS or equivalent board) with good
results are eligible; subject to skill/interview at RIMS.

CAMBRIDGE A – LEVEL
A LEVELS – A GLOBAL EDGE
AS and A Levels (Grades XI and XII) General Cerficate Examinaon (GCE) Advanced (A) Level Exams are offered by the University of Cambridge Internaonal Examinaons (UCIE). These examinaons can be taken India aer SSC/ ICSE/ CBSE and are equivalent but rather superior to any other naonal board examinaons.
GLOBAL RECOGNITION
Cambridge A Level qualificaons by universies, educaon providers and employers across the globe. Aer successful compleon of ‘A’ level course, the students can appear for any of the compeve entrance exams including IIT-JEE, NEET and CET. They are eligible for admission to all the degree courses of university.
MORE FOCUSED STUDIES
A level study gives the student the benefit of in depth study of the core subjects chosen in the stream of his / her choice, be it medical, engineering or management. 3 subjects with full credits are considered sufficient for admissions to under graduaon courses. Students, on successful compleon of A Levels can gain direct admission to any university in India or abroad. Due to the high academic standards of assessments. students with good grades at AS and A Levels secure admissions into some of the presgious universies of the world. Students also gain credits up to 2 semesters. thus saving me and ulmately expenses.
